Process for preparing household garbage to make compost which consists in grinding the garbage (12), separating it by screening (16) into two portions of different particles sizes and subjecting it to a pneumatic sorting (22) in order to separate the heavy products from the light ones, characterized by the fact that the portion with the smallest particles sized from the first screening (16) undergoes a second screening (18) to eliminate the finest particles, then pneumatic sorting (22) to separate the heavy products from the light ones which are used to make compost. |
