REFRACTORY MATERIAL CONTAINING BORON NITRIDE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a refractory material containing boron nitride and suitable for an immersion nozzle and stopper for continuous casting having remarkably improved corrosion resistance to melt-corrosive steel. CONSTITUTION:This refractory material containing boron nitride is composed of 30-87wt.% of alumina or zirconia, 2-39wt.% of boron nitride, 0-10wt.% of silicon carbide and 10-25wt.% of graphite. The alumina may be replaced with <=26wt.% of silica.
