PURPOSE: To provide a flat textile material having a knitted web, a woven web or a scrim web and having stretchability and recovery in all directions and a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION: A laminated material consists of at least one textile web 1 (a web of a knitted, woven or scrim material) and a nonwoven elastic web 2 (pref., a web of a woven or scrim material) and these webs are mutually bonded. This bonding is executed in an unstretched state or an only partially stretched state by the elastic web and, when the elastic web is in an unstretched state, the textile 1 is flat (free from gathers). This laminated material has restoring force and barrier properties (opacity, heat insulating properties, wind resistance or the like) and keeps breathability by the nonwoven elastic web 2. This laminated material can be used for clothing or a compatible pad (table pad, mattress pad or the like). A method for forming this laminated material is also provided. |
