PURPOSE:To remove the troublesome work to detach an injection valve and reduce the danger of the leakage of high-pressure fuel oil by connecting high- pressure fuel pipe sideways directly to the injection valve. CONSTITUTION:For fixing an injection valve 5 and the like, at first, a connector 10 is pushed into a leaked-oil outlet port 29, and a valve unit consisting of the injection valve 5, a nozzle main body 13, and the like is brought into a valve chamber 4 from above with its lower half inserted into an insert hole 3. At this stage, an inlet port 8 and the outlet port 29 are fitted and connected via the connector 10. Then, a valve chamber lid 22 is fitted to the injection valve, and a spring 24 and a push plate are furnished. The injection valve 5 is pushed downward by a push metal-fitting 26, and at the same time, the lid 22 is pushed down by the spring 24. A high-pressure fuel pipe 36 is inserted into a storage chamber 6 from a cylinder-head side end face 1a together with a fastening pipe 35. When the fastening pipe 35 is screwed on a male screw part 28, a top taper part 36a is directly connected with a cone-shaped receive hole 28a. |
