PURPOSE:To make the suction pressure acting on the opening part of a fuel passage well adjustable as well as the start and warming-up of an engine compatible, by installing a throttle valve to be arranged somewhere around the opening part of the fuel passage in a suction passage belonging to a starter system. CONSTITUTION:A throttle valve 11, which varies the thickness of a fuel-air mixture in time of starting and warming-up separately, is installed. In time of starting an engine, an opening area in the vicinity of an opening part 4a of a fuel passage 4 in a suction passage 5 is throttled to some extent by the throttle valve 11, then the suction pressure acting on the opening part 4a is increased and thereby a thick fuel-air mixture is obtained. When the engine enters the warming-up, the suction pressure acting on an upper chamber 14a of a diaphragm chamber 14 grows large and a diaphragm 12 is pushed upward, opening the throttle valve 11 after being withdrawn from the suction passage 5. Therefore, the opening area of the suction passage 5 in the vicinity of the opening part 4a of the fuel passage 4 becomes enlarged and the suction pressure acting on the opening part 4a is reduced, whereas the quantity of air passing through the suction passage increases in volume, so that a rarer fuel-air mixture than in time of starting is thus secured. |
