PURPOSE:To easily sense abnormal rise in temperature in an object to be cooled by a thermistor which is incorporated in a heat pipe, by easily sensing the change in the height of the liquid level, utilizing characteristic properties of a thermistor. CONSTITUTION:The numeral 6 is a figure showing a thermistor fixed by a fixture 7 in the position in the predetermined depth in an operating fluid 3, and the number 8 shows a detector body consisting of an amplifier and a load which is a lamp or a buzzer for example, which are connected to the thermistor 6. Radiated heat from the thermistor differs from that in the liquid to that out of the liquid. Accordingly, whether the thermistor is in the liquid or out of the liquid is identified by detecting the difference in resistivity of the thermistor which is produced by self-generated heat from it. By this method, whether the liquid is kept within the specified height or not can be identified. |
