PURPOSE:To secure the shaft and impeller firmly by employing a stepped ceramic shaft and extending to the end face at the inducer side while providing notched sections symmetrically and in parallel with the shaft at the shaft end section, then pressing to insert a wedged pin into the space between the notched section of shaft and the impleller fixing hole. CONSTITUTION:A stepped ceramic shaft 10 is extended to the position of the end face 5A at the inducer side, while flat notched sections 12 are provided in parallel and symmetrically with the shaft at the end of the shaft section 11. A pin 13 has wedge-shape to be pressed and inserted into the space 14 between the notch section 12 and the fixing hole 5B of impeller 5 having a pole face 13A at the side contacting with the fixing hole 5B tapered with proper angle theta toward the inserting direction while a chamfered part 13B is formed at the leading edge. Furthermore the cross-section S1 is made slightly larger than the cross-section S2 of the space 14. After fitting the shaft section 11 and the impeller 5, said pin 13 is pressed and inserted through the end face 5A at the inducer side into the space 14, thereby the impeller 5 and the shaft 10 can be secured firmly through wedge function under any condition. |
