PURPOSE:To disperse heat generation uniformly, to carry out polymerization uniformly and to obtain a resin having neither lot-to-lot variability nor impurity, by blending a resin monomer with a polymerization initiator, passing the blend through a capillary and carrying out radical polymerization while the transportation. CONSTITUTION:A mixture comprising a resin monomer (e.g., methyl methacrylate, etc.,) 1 and 0.5pt.wt. polymerization initiator (e.g., lauroyl peroxide, etc.,) is packed into a monomer tank 2. Then, the blend is sent through a capillary 4 such as Teflon tube, etc., put in a solving bath 4 kept at 70 deg.C by a double non-pulsating type plunger pump 3, etc., by pressure and polymerized. The capillary 4 having 1mm inner diameter, 2mm outer diameter and 5m length is used and polymerization is carried out under such a condition that the resin monomer 1 is passed through the capillary 4 for 60min to give a polymer 6.
