摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a packaged fish food in improved yield, thermal efficiency and operating effciency, by molding a fish meat free from bones, etc. into a desired packaging form, passing an electric current through the molded fish meat as a resistor, and suitably packaging the heat-treated packaged fish meat. CONSTITUTION:The head, entrails and bones, etc. are removed from a fish body, and fish meat is collected from the body by the conventional method. The resultant fish meat 5 is packed in a pakaging form frame of desired form consisting of insulating mold materials 1, 2 and 3, and an electric current is passed from an AC power source 6 through electrically conductive inner side plates 4 and the fish meat 5 as a resistor to heat-treat the fish meat 5. The resultant heat-treated molded fish meat 5 is then suitably packaged. As a result, not only the raw material yield can be improved remarkably as compared with that in obtaining the packaged fish meat by the conventional method, but also the thermal efficiency can be increased in heating and the operating efficiency, etc. can be improved.
