PURPOSE:To improve deposition resistance as well as durability by subjecting an Ag alloy to which prescribed percentages of Sn and In are incorporated to internal oxidation to form it into Ag-oxide alloy. CONSTITUTION:An alloy consisting of, by weight, 4.2-5% Sn, 2-8% In, and the balance Ag is refined. Then a rolled sheet of this alloy is heated to a prescribed temp. and internally oxidized to be formed into Ag-oxide alloy. An electric contact material made of this Ag-oxide alloy has superior durability and deposition resistance. |
