PURPOSE:To facilitate a change-over between forward running and rearward running and to enable an emergency stop of self-running machine by a method wherein throttle adjusting means of 2 systems for forward and rearward running are arranged independently to each other and each of the throttle adjusting means is selectively operated in linkage with the change-over operation of a transmission device. CONSTITUTION:One end of a forward running wire 5 and one end of a rearward running wire 6 are connected to a throttle lever 4 arranged at the side of an engine 3, and the other ends of the wires are connected to the lever type and grip type throttle operating means 25 and 27 respectively. The intermediate part of each of the wire 5 and 6 is supported by each one of a pair of fixing plates 11 and 12 which are spaced apart at a desired distance, then an elliptical guide means 13 forming the change-over device 10 is rotatably arranged between the fixing plates 11 and 12. One end of the connecting rod 15 is pivotally set to the projecting side 13a of the guide means 13 and the other end is connected to a control plate 16 of the transmission lever 2. With this arrangement, when the transmission lever 2 is changed over to rearward running, for example, the forward running wire 5 is kept loosened. Returning means such as a spring etc. is attached to said operating means 27. |
