A hook-and-loop fastener comprising a base web, a multiplicity of hook elements and loop elements mounted on the base web in rows and vertical lines. In each row, each hook element adjoining a loop element on each side thereof. The distribution ratio of the hook elements to the total of the hook elements and loop elements is approximately 33 percent. Each loop element is 1 mm higher than each hook element. Each hook element is made of thermoplastic monofilament of 400 through 700 denier. |
