"TRUCK CAP ELEVATOR ASSEMBLY" The elevator assembly consists of four vertical supports bolted to the truck floor with a control arm pivoted to each by one end thereof. A transverse guide channel is situated between each pair of support arms with a roller assembly connecting the upper end of each control arm within the channel. A longitudinally extending stabilizing channel extends between the upper ends of each side pair of guide channels and the guide channels carry a left and a righthand threaded actuator screw driven by a source of power. The actuator screws screw threadably engage within nuts in the roller assemblies so that rotation of the control screws move the assemblies towards and away from one another thereby lowering and raising the upper frame which supports the truck cap. An equalizer arm extends between intermediate the ends of the control arm and the outer ends of the corresponding guide channels for stability.
