PURPOSE:To make adhere highly concentrated metal phthalocyanine by immersing carbon in an alcohol solution of lithium phthalocyanine and treating it in an alcohol solution of a metal salt. CONSTITUTION:In making adhere metal phthalocyanine on carbon, lithium phthalocyanine is made to adhere on carbon, then they are treated in a solution prepared by dissolving metal chloride, bromide, iodide, or sulfate in alcohol, dimethylformamide, or methylsulfoxide to convert lithium phthalocyanine to metal phthalocyanine. By this process, phthalocyanine of noble metal such as sulver, platinum, palladium, or rhodium can be easily made to adhere on carbon. And phthalocyanine of transition metal such as nickel, cobalt, chromium, iron, or copper can be made to adhere to carbon. |
