PURPOSE:To effectively utilize a space in a ship, by directly taking off subpower from a rotary shaft driven through power of an outboard engine and eliminating the necessity for separately set engine mounted in the ship as a work power. CONSTITUTION:An outboard engine consists of an engine 1 in the upper part and a lower unit 2 in the bottom part, and the unit 2 is turnably mounted through a steering pivot 5 to a swivel bracket 4 mounted to the stern 3, and steered by a steering handle 6. Here a cam shaft driving pulley 9 is interlocked by a timing belt 8 for a crankshaft 7 driven by the engine 1, and a coupling 11 is mounted by a key 14 to a cam shaft point end of the pulley 9 while a subpower take off pulley 12 is equipped, and a work machine or the like is driven by a V-belt 13. |
