PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide photosensitive material superior in coupling performance and contg. a compd. good in storage stability, by adding at least one of compds. represented by a specified formula. CONSTITUTION:In the formula shown, Coup is a coupling moiety, and it may be a color forming cupler generally used in color photographic sensitive materials, and it combines with O at the site capable of coupling with the oxidation product of a color developing agent; R1, R2, R3 are each H, alkyl, or aryl; R4 is H, alkyl, aryl, sulfonyl, carbamoyl, alkoxycarbonyl, or carboxyl; and PUG is a photographically useful group, and whatever is made usable by an imagewise pattern in the silver halide photosensitive material may be used, and the most desirable type is a development inhibitor. |
