PURPOSE:To remove easily recording paper jamming in a recording paper conveyance passage, by supporting a conveyance roll which is on the same side as the side of a transfer roll with sespect to the surface of the conveyance passage pivotally on a supporting member common to the transfer roll, and separating supporting member from the conveyance passage selectively. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid 51 is energized before copying operation and a lock rod 40 is separated from a disk 39. When a start signal is generated by a control circuit, a clutch 45 is set in a connection state to rotate a lift lever 35 in a direction C, rotating the supporting member 21 to the 1st position. The lift lever 35 keeps rotating and once the lock rod 40 enters a lock groove 41 from the outer circumferential surface of the lock disk 39, a detector 54 is put in operation by an operating pieces 47 to break the clutch 45 by its output signal. Therefore, the supporting member 21 is locked at the 1st position while the solenoid 51 is energized. This solenoid 51 is turned off by a copy end signal, stop signal, jam signal, etc. In this state, the operating plate 47 is rotated by a torsional spring 50 and the lock rod 40 comes out of the lock groove 41. |
