PURPOSE:To make the frequency characteristic of a base band signal of a modulator output flat, by providing a means for adjusting the phase of an input signal to an input section of the base band signal of a master and a slave modulator. CONSTITUTION:In the modulating device, the subordinate synchronization system is adopted, in which the master and the slave modulators 1, 1' having an automatic frequency control loop are operated in parallel. The phase of the base band signal to the modulator 1' is delayed than that to the modulator 1 by a means adjusting the phase of an input signal of a base band signal input section to the modulators 1, 1'. The frequency characteristic of the base band signal of the modulator output is made flat, by matching the phase of a signal modulated at the modulator 1' and a signal given to the output of the modulator 1' via a circulator 5 and modulated at the modulator 1. |
