PURPOSE:To improve the mounting stability and apparance of a carrier main frame loaded on top of the roof of a car body and reduce wind cut noise when a car travels by covering the fixed section of support legs for the carrier main frame with each of skirt sections made of backward and forward and right and left walls. CONSTITUTION:A carrier main frame 1 is provided with the bottom 2, forward and backward walls 3 and 4, and left and right walls 5 and 6 that use synthetic resin as the materials and is formed into a square saucer with the shallow bottom. Besides, the said respective walls 3-6 are bent in downward U-shaped or U-shaped form comprising an inside and outside double wall and their outside walls are skirt sections 3a-6a. The skirt sections 3a-6a are inclined so that each of the lower ends can be located at the more outside than the top cuter edge of each of the walls 3-6. Furthermore, the lower ends of the skirt sections 3a and 4a are formed into a slow curve with almost the same curvature as the top of the roof of a car body. Finally, a support frame 11 is fixed on the external surface of the lower surface of the bottom 2 and the base ends of the support legs 12 and 13 are fixed at the left and right sides of the support frame 11 and then the tips are protruded from the lower end outsides of the skirt sections 5a and 6a. |
