PURPOSE:To accurately and easily check the rear view of a car while it is being driven by detecting the picture of the rear view using a TV camera and displaying the picture on a flat picture display section provided at the position of a room mirror depending upon the operating conditons CONSTITUTION:TV cameras 3a-3c detecting the rear view that can be seen through a rear window 2 are installed on the roof surface that is located almost at the center of a car room 1, and TV cameras 4a-4c detecting the rear dead angle view are installed near the rear bumper of the car rear. Besides, a mirror housing 6 is mounted on the front roof position that is the inside of the front glass 5 of the car room 1 and a flat CRT with display screens 7a-7c is incorporated at the side facing the inner part of the car room. Besides, the picture of the view detected by the said TV cameras 3a-3c or 4a-4c is selectively displayed on display screens 7a-7c by the operation of a switching means (not illustrated). |
