<p>A housing for an internal combustion engine of the type used with portable chain saws having a cavity therein for a fuel supply and another cavity for lubricating oil. The engine housing is composed of at least an upper and a lower portion which are joined along a substantially horizontal dividing plane which is substantially parallel to the bottom plate of the lower portion of the engine housing. The dividing plane intersects the crankshaft casing of the engine whereby two separate closed cavities are formed for separately storing fuel and lubricating oil for said chain saw.</p> |
