PURPOSE:To enhance light-resistance of a magneta dye image and to improve the color balance among the magenta and the other dye images in the course of color fading, by forming a non-photosensitive layer contg. no UV absorber on the uppermost non-photosensitive layer contg. the UV absorber. CONSTITUTION:The magenta coupler to be used is at least one of 3-anilino-5- pyrazolone type coupler represented by the shown formula. At least 2 non-photosensitive layer made of a hydrophilic binder contg. a UV absorber are formed on a layer located farther than a magneta-contg. layer from a support. It is desirable that the UV absorber is a benzotriazole compound. A non-photosensitive layer contg. no UV absorber, and consisting substantially of a binder component is formed on the reverse side of the support as the uppermost layer. The presence of this layer enhances light fastness of the magenta dye image to an extremely high grade.
