PURPOSE:To form plural electrode substrates simultaneously at a low cost by forming an electrode conductor pattern for plural panels on one substrate so that a check on conduction is made efficiently in a short time. CONSTITUTION:Electrode conductors 1a, 1b, 1c, and 1d for four display panels are formed in such a pattern that they are connected mutually in series. Consequently, the following process for checking the conduction of the electrodes is carried out efficiently through both terminals 23 and 24 of the electrode pattern 22 for plural panels simultaneously and by checking operation a quarter as much as usual. Then, a dielectric layer, protection layer, etc., are adhered to the electrode pattern 22 in prescribed patterns at need by screen printing, spraying, vapor deposition, etc., and a common substrate 21 is cut along the respective connection parts of electrode conductor patterns 1a, 1b, 1c, and 1d as shown by chain lines 25 in a marking-off or cutting method to manufacture electrode substrates 26, 27, 28, and 29 for plural display panels simultaneously with less manpower than usual. |
