Device for the electrochemical corrosion protection of drums and vats made of stainless steel

The invention relates to a device for the electrochemical corrosion protection of a filter drum 24 made of stainless steel and a vat 22 that contains a corrosive liquid in which the drum rotates. The device consists of a network of metal rods 15 approximately shaped to match the inside of the vat, which network supports a set of mutually parallel anode wires with the aid of insulators 18. The network with the anode wires is lowered into the vat 22 by moving it along the inside of the latter until it engages with a hooking device 26 (placed in a set position under the drum 24) and is fixed by a fixing device 27 that is connected with the vat 22 up to its top edge. The device constructed in this way is simple and cheap and can be easily installed and removed without having to lift the drum 24 out of the vat 22.
