<p>PURPOSE:To detect a position on a liquid crystal without using a tablet, by sending an AC signal to one of X or Y electrode groups of a matrix liquid crystal display, and by detecting the AC signal with a detection pen to detect a coordinate. CONSTITUTION:An AC signal is inputted in an address detection circuit 17 through a detection pen 10 to obtain a Y coordinate position information. An X coordinate position information is inputted in the address detection circuit 17 from a detection signal scanning circuit 16. An address having an X coordinate of Xi and a Y coordinate of Yi is outputted from the address detection circuit 17. By using the address, a driver 13 and a driver 14 are driven to light on a corresponding picture element of a matrix liquid crystal panel 12.</p> |
