The invention concerns a tool for orienting of rows of essentially parallel diverging connection legs on a component with the shape of a right-angle parallelepiped. By means of two shanks 1, 2, two gripping jaws 3, 4 can be manoeuvred against the action of at least one compression spring 5, 6 in order to removably pick up the component between them, with their gripping surfaces 20, 21 bearing against the outside of the connection leg in order to orient it. According to the invention, the respective gripping jaws 3, 4 have two gripping surfaces, which intersect each other at a right angle, so that four rows of connection legs can be oriented at the same time on the component.
