An arrangement for the alignment of symmetrical and asymmetrical containers (1l) using rotating discs (19) and adjustable, peripherally placed steering bands (20, 21) at a distance along the discs. The bands have ends (22, 23) situated at a certain length within the disc.The distance between the band ends, the bands' positioning and the disc's rotation speed means that, in a primary alignment position for the container, the container passes the other steering band's inward facing end (23) without potentially deflecting contact with the end, whilst in a secondary alignment position for the container, the container engages the other steering band's inward facing end (23) and is manoeuvred to adopt the primary alignment position.<IMAGE> |
