PURPOSE:To prevent an overrun, by producing a table to store it in a segment number buffer, and by printing while referring to the said table for every line. CONSTITUTION:A discriminating part 4' searches a qualifying data buffer 2 prior to printing each line and outputs corresponding qualifying data and qualifying location. When the time of outputs reaches a segment number of the related line to be stored in a segment number buffer, the search of the qualifying data buffer 2 is stopped. Therefore, unnecessary search is not carried out. As a result, an overrun is prevented as long as a segment to be outputted does not exist at the tail of a table. The qualifying data to be stored in 2 is stored in the order of a page number and line number. Accordingly, a time necessary for producing the table to be stored in a segment number buffer 10 and for performing the search of 2 to be carried out before printing each line is shortened so that a chance for generating the overrun is further lessened. |
