PURPOSE:To prevent white copying and toner dispersion and to form a picture of high quality by using a developer including the toner of small grain size in a film drum transfer type electrophotographic copying method. CONSTITUTION:A drum body obtained by winding an insulated dielectric film 5 (e.g. a ''Mylar'' film having about 5-200mu thickness) on its surface is used as a transfer drum (a mark 4 shows a charger) and toner images 2 formed on a photosensitive drum 1 are transferred to the transfer paper 3 wound around the transfer drum. In said film drum transsfer method, a developer obtained by mixing (A) carrier (e.g. undefined iron powder) and (B) toner having <=10mu (preferably about 5mu) average grain size in about 7wt% of the whole weight is used. |
