PURPOSE:To make it possible to carry out a plasma treatment uniformly, by revolving plastic moldings in relation to the position of the plasma injection port of a vacuum chamber in the treatment in which the surface of the plastic moldings are treated with plasma for the purpose of improving their adhesion to paint films. CONSTITUTION:Articles A to be treated consisting of plastic moldings are mounted on a mount (not shown) placed within a spherical or cylindrical chamber (numeral 2 is a conduit for connection to a vacuum pump and numeral 7 is an injection port of plasma), and these plastic moldings are plasma-treated while they are being revolved (arrox X) [or further being rotated (arrow Y)]. According to this process, it is possible to carry out the plasma treatment of articles uniformly regardless of their positions on the mount. |
