PURPOSE:To obtain an electric power haivng large conversion efficiency by decelerating by a gear an AC motor having large rotating speed to increase a torque. CONSTITUTION:In a commercial generator, in case of 2-pole motor and 50Hz power source, it rotates at 3,000r/min. When the 2-pole motor is gear shifted to 1/15, its torque increases to approx. 15 times. Accordingly, the generator can generates with electric input of 1/15. In this manner, electric power amplifying machines of commercial frequency having large conversion efficiency can be mechanically obtained. |
