PURPOSE:To prevent foreign objects from sticking to a tire contact surface by coating the film of a solid lubricant on the tire contact surface of an inclined rotary cylinder such as a rotary kiln and by applying blast cleaning and grease coating, etc. after the installation is completed. CONSTITUTION:The film coating 6 of a solid lubricant such as graphite or molybdenum disulfide is applied to the surface of a tire base washer 3 of a rotary kiln where a tire 2 is brought into contact and rust preventive coating is applied, as required, to the other surface with no film coating applied. All parts are transported as they are to an installation location, and after the installation of the rotary kiln is completed and before its operation is started, blast cleaning is applied with compressed air between the tire 2, and the tire base washer 3. After the rotary kiln is operated, high temperature heat resistant grease is diluted with noncombustible oil and turned into fluid grease, which is sprayed between the tire 2 and the tire base washer 3, then the grease is dried due to a high temperature and turned into a lubricating film. |
