PURPOSE:To attain correct reading of picture information, by making the area of a counter part of a counter electrode larger proportionally as it approaches to the end of a photoconductive film in the direction of arrangement, in a picture reader using the photoconductive film as a light sensor. CONSTITUTION:The area S of the counter part between the counter electrodes 11, 12 is almost constant at the center A in the direction of arrangement of the photoconductive film 1 and increased gradually at the end B. Thus, since the amount of change in the resistance value against the same amount of the incident light to the photoconductive film 1 is increased, the amount of incident light at the end B can be less than that at the center A so as to make the resistance value constant at the incidence of light. |
