PURPOSE:To obtain a function as a terminal device for remote control by means of a multi-frequency signal, by switching the connection from a dial pulse generator to a multi-wave signal generator in accordance with the detection of response at a remote side. CONSTITUTION:In hooking up a bandset 2, a control section 7 is controlled with a signal (a) from a hook switch 8 and a loop signal reaches a dial pulse exchange through a telephone line 10 via an input/output terminal 1. In operating a push button 6, a dial pulse from the dial pulse generator 4 reaches the exchange. In operating a push button 6, a dial pulse from the dial pulse generator 5 reaches the exchange. When the exchange connects a line to an opposite party and when the opposite party responds, an opposite side response detector 9 inverting the polarity of the line detects the inverted polarity, transmits a detecting signal to a control section 7 to select a changeover switch 3 to the position of a multi-frequency signal generator 5. Further, a multi-frequency signal (c) is transmitted to the telephone line 10 by operating the push button switch 6. |
