PURPOSE:To enlarge a utilization range, by a method wherein an inner cylinder is communicated with an exhaust fan and a gas stream having a floating speed equal to or slower than that of a particulate material to be mixed is made present in the inner cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A rotary feeder 6 is separated into two units A, B and an exhaust fan 16 is mounted so as to be communicated with an inner cylinder 2. The exhaust fan 16 is communicated with the almost upper end part of the inner cylinder 2 closed at the upper end thereof by a conical cap 5 through a bag filter 15 to always bring the interior of the inner cylinder 2 to a constant negative pressure. In this state, suction force is acted on the opening of a small orifice 4 and a particulate reaching the opening part is positively sucked in the small orifice 4 to be flowed into the inner cylinder 2. The negative pressure of the inner cylinder 2 ranges from a pressure generated when the velocity of the gas stream flowing upward through the inner cylinder 2 is zero to a pressure generated when said gas stream flows with a fluidizing velocity for the material to be mixed, or below. |
