PURPOSE:To improve the dimensional accuracy of a stator for a motor by integrally forming the entirety of the stator with sintered material made of silicon- iron powder, thereby eliminating the disadvantages due to laminated layer. CONSTITUTION:A stator of, for example, a stepping motor which has a circular hole 1 for disposing a rotor at the center and a plurality of poles 2 forming a magnetic path between the poles of the rotor to be projected on the inner periphery of the hole 1, is integrally formed in the entirety of a sintered material made of metal powder of silicon-iron powder. In this case, the density of the sintered material is preferably equal to or higher than 6.8, and the corrosion resistance and magnetic characteristics of the entirety are enhanced by heating at 550-600 deg.C in steam for the prescribed period of time. |
