PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for manual operation and to test the transmission characteristic at a designated speech channel, by providing a test terminal connected to a measuring device to a specific line and a test link terminal, and closing the test link from a specific subscriber line by the instruction of a common controller. CONSTITUTION:A time division telephone exchange is provided with a subscriber line LC connected to a specific subscriber SUB, a test link leading-in relay contact lt, a time division network NW and a transmission characteristics test device TST and the like. The test link consisting of relay contacts t, tb connected to this specific subscriber line LC is provided with a test terminal TO, which is connected to the device TST, a test terminal T1 is provided to the specific line of the network NW, and the terminal T1 is connected to the other terminal of the device TST. Further, the channel set to the specific line and the closing of the test link with the subscriber line LC measuring the transmission characteristic are attained and the transmission characteristic is measured according to the speech channel instructed by the common controller. |
