The zirconium- and/or hafnium-containing zeolites are produced by preparing a mixture of silicon compounds, aluminium compounds, sodium compounds, potassium compounds, choline compounds, water and zirconium and/or hafnium compounds in specified relative amounts and heating in a sealed vessel. The zeolites are used as catalysts for producing C2-C4-olefins from methanol. |
