PURPOSE:To provide heat sensitive recording paper free from background fog excellent in the storage stability of recording, constituted by using color formable fluorane dyes in a specific combination and P-hydroxybenzoic esters as a color developer. CONSTITUTION:On a support, a heat sensitive layer based on a color forming substance prepared by compounding 5wt% or more 3-(N-methylcyclohexylamino)- 6-methyl-7-anilino fluorane and 5wt% or more 3-diethylamino-7-o-chloroanilino fluorane or 3-di-n-butylamino-6-methyl-7-amino-fluorane in 3-N-diethylamino-6- methyl-7-anilino fluorane or a color forming substance prepared by compounding 5wt% or more 3-diethylamino-7-o-chloroanilino fluorane or 3-di-n-butyl-amino-6- methyl-7-amino fluorane in 3-pyrodino-6-methyl-7-anilino fluorane and a color coupler comprising P-hydroxybenoic esters developing the color of said substance under heating is formed to obtain recording paper. |
