PURPOSE:To economically manufacture liquefied CO2 while effectively utilizing energy by recovering gaseous CO2 from raw gas, recovering pressure energy of the residual high pressure gas as power, reducing the temp. of the gas by adiabatic expansion, and using the gas as a cooling medium. CONSTITUTION:Gas 1 which has been discarded so far such as waste gas from a cement calcining kiln is passed through a dust remover 2, compressed with a gas compressor 3, and fed to an absorption tower 4, where CO2 is recovered. The residual high pressure gas is introduced into a CO2 compressor 10 to utilize the pressure energy as power of the compressor 10 through an expansion engine or the like, and the temp. of the gas is reduced by adiabatic expansion. The gas is used as a cooling source of a cooler 11 and discarded. A soln. discharged from the tower 4 is introduced into a stripping tower 5 through a water turbine 7, and the tower 5 is evacuated to release CO2. The released gaseous CO2 is compressed with the compressor 10, liquefied with the cooler 11, and stored in a storage tank 12. The solvent discharged from the tower 5 is fed to the upper part of the tower 4 with a pump 6. |
