A gearless mechanical transmission includes a housing (3) which support a high-speed shaft (1) and a low-speed shaft (11) along a main rotational axis (14), the housing also includes a precession link (9) fixed for rotation about the high speed shaft (1) at an angle (15) skewed with regard to the main axis (14). A first cam surface (200) is associated with the housing (3), a second cam surface (202) with the low speed shaft (11) and a third (903) and fourth (904) with a precession link. Cam follower elements include rollers (5, 5') which establish rolling contact between the first (200) and third (903) and second (202) and fourth (904) cams respectively.
