A device including a housing (2) supporting a lower fixed plate (5) for receiving a stack (6) of gloves (7), a gripping means (18) movable up and down between a lower gripping position and an upper discharge position, and consisting of a suction box (19) containing a motor-driven fan (20) generating an upward air flow, a retractable glove discharge flap hinged to the housing so that in its inoperative retracted position, it does not lie in the path of the gripping means (18), a tilt control means for tilting the flap (22) from the retracted position to a discharge position in which it extends underneath the gripping means (18) at an angle thereto, and vice versa, and a monitoring and control assembly (16) responding to the operation of a start control (17) and to position sensors (27, 28) by actuating and stopping the drive means (15) that move the gripping means (18) as well as the drive means that actuates the fan therein.
