The interior light for vehicles is composed essentially of a light plate (1) produced from plastic and a reflector (2) which covers the filament bulb (17) from the rear and is detachably connected to the light plate (1). On one side, a resilient tongue (12) is formed onto the reflector (2) and protrudes out of an opening (20) of a side wall (4) formed onto the light plate (1), which wall, together with the noses (15) formed onto the other side of the light plate, fixes the interior light in an opening in the vehicle body.
