PURPOSE:To prevent damage of a core and wire material by a method wherein the core is turned 180 deg. in the state the wire material is drawn out from a core hole, to wind the wire material round the core. CONSTITUTION:One end of a wire material 2 is gripped by a wire holder 29, and the other end thereof is gripped by fingers 24 of an insertion gripper 14. In this state, the wire material 2 is inserted into a hole in a core 1. The inserted end of the wire material is gripped by fingers 24' of a drawn gripper. The fingers 24 are now opened and the fingers 24' are then moved in a direction away from the core to draw out the wire material 2 from the core 1. Next, a work holding means is turned 180 deg. by a work rotating means to wind the wire material 2 round the core 1. At this time, with the center of rotation being properly selected such that the wire material 2 will not slack, the wire material can be wound in close contact with the core, so that the wire material 2 and the core 1 will not be damaged. |
