PURPOSE:To obtain with a low cost a square dielectric resonator having the capacity corresponding to a millimeter wave band, by adhering a dielectric plate having a small dielectric constant and a small high frequency loss to a single side of a dielectric substrate in order to reduce the spurious mode and then cutting the substrate by means of a diamond saw. CONSTITUTION:A glass plate 8 having a small high frequency loss is adhered to a single side of a dielectric substrate 7 made of a material of a high dielectric constant such as ZrO2, TiO2, etc. in order to reduce the spurious mode. This substrate is then cut by a diamond saw along cutting lines 6 to obtain dielectric resonators 71. |
