PURPOSE:To miniaturize the player main body without the need for a balance weight, by adjusting balance of a pickup arm with an elastic force of a spring. CONSTITUTION:A balance adjusting member 8 is cylindrical a female screw 8a is formed on an inner circumference, and a stylus pressure indicating ring 9 and a balance adjusting ring 10 are fitted on an outer circumference interlockingly. In adjusting balance, first the balance adjusting member 8 is turned to move the adjusting ring 10 along a balance adjusting shaft 7 and the zero balance with the stylus is adjusted by changing the elastic force of a balance adjusting spring 11. Then, the stylus pressure indicating ring 9 is turned to set ''0'' of a stylus pressure dial 9a to an index 10a, then the balance adjusting member 8 is turned for the stylus pressure adjustment by setting the dial of a suitable stylus pressure to the index 10a. Thus, no balance weight is required in this way, allowing to miniaturize the player main body. |
