PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a person from stepping off his feet by installing an automatic blinking member in an appropriate place on the surface of a horizontal plate part of the body of skid stopper, allowing the stairs to make automatic blinking differently depending upon if it is in the daytime or nighttime, and thereby illuminating at night the positions of stairs and footboards clearly. SOLUTION: In the daytime, incandescent light of a building or a solar beam is put incident to an automatic blinking member 2. When light is put into a solar cell 4, a current flows in a circuit, and the power is accumulated in a secondary battery 5. At the same time, light is also incident to a photo- conductive cell 6 to cause lessening of the electric resistance, which actuates a relay, and a light-emitting diode is held off. In the night time, the inside of the building is dark, and no beam of light comes into the solar cell 4 and photo-conductive cell 6. Accordingly the relay is out of actuation and the light- emitting diode is turned on. In the daytime, the power of the solar cell 4 is accumulated in the secondary battery 5, and the light-emitting diode is not turned on, and it is put on only in the night time. Thus the diode makes automatic blinking depending upon the surrounding lightness. |
