摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an erroneous range-finding action from being executed and to eliminate an out-of-focus photograph by executing the one-point range-finding action by using a light projection element having a projection optical axis nearest to an intersection point between the finder optical axis of a camera and an object to be photographed in a macro-photographing feasible area. SOLUTION: It is discriminated whether range-finding information R obtained by executing the one-point range-finding action by combining the light projection element 201R and a light receiving element 205R exists within the range of macro- photographing feasible distancces Mn-Mf or not. Then, when it is within the range of the distances Mn-Mf, the information R is regarded as the range-finding information D. When it is out of the range of the distances Mn-Mf, it is warned and displayed with respect to a photographer that an object is out of the range of the distances Mn-Mf. Besides, when a release switch is half-depressed, the range-finding action is executed again. When the release switch is not half-depressed, this macro-range- finding action is finished. That means, the macro-range-finding action is executed by using the light projection element 201 having the projection optical axis nearest to the intersection point between the finder optical axis 208 and the object to be photographed within the macro-photographing feasible area at a macro-photographing time.
