A filling connection for the toner container of the developing device of an electrophotographic copying device is equipped with a slotted diaphragm (4) which forms the upper end of the filling connection and which serves for holding a foil tube (6) containing the refill toner. The diaphragm parts adjacent to the separation slots (4a) equipped with clamping beads (4d, 4e) are inclined inwards, in order that the diaphragm can open on introduction of the foil tube and, on extraction of the foil tube, can squeeze the toner out of the foil tube without toner dust leaking out. <IMAGE>
