PURPOSE:To automatically adjust the reclining angle of a seat when a car travels at high speed depending upon the car speed by controlling the reclining angle of the car by means of the car speed sensor. CONSTITUTION:The seat drive mechanism 18 of a reclining seat 10 consists of a motor 20, a worm 22, and the like and is connected to a control circuit that controls a car speed sensor and the reclining angle of a reclining section 14. Besides, when the car speed is below a preset speed (for example, 10km/h), manual adjustment is made possible. When it exceeds the preset speed and is outside the high speed region (for example, 70km/h), both manual and automatic adjustments are inhibited and automatic adjustment is made possible in the high speed region. |
